Install BOTH Snowflake ODBC drivers. Don’t change any install paths, these must go where the install says.

This will appear for all the copy and renaming. Click Continue and then Yes on the next screen.

Open SnowFlake Config folder.

SERVER: This is stored on the E: Drive (for us)

1. Copy 1_snowflake_odbc.32.setup to

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\setup

Rename file by removing 1_

2. SERVER: On the servers name this file snowflake_odbc.setup

3. Copy 2_snowflake.sbo and 3_snowflake.prm

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\odbc

Rename file by removing 2_ and 3_

4. Double click extensions. Path now should read

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\odbc\extensions\qt

5. Copy 4_qt_snowflake.prm

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\odbc\extensions\qt

Rename file by removing 4_qt_

Configure ODBC connection

· 32 bit ODBC for Client on Laptops

· 32 bit and 64 bit on servers. 32bit support running the IDT client on the server and the 64bit supports Webintellgence.

· The configuration is the same for 32bit or 64bit ODBC

From the desktop click the search icon and type odbc. Choose 32-bit for Client and on the server you will need to configure BOTH 32 and 64bit.

Why? 32bit support the running of the IDT application on the server and the 64bit support Webintelligence.

This setup works on both ODBC Data Source Administrators:

Click Add, changes are made by selecting the System DSN clicking Configure.

Select System DSN.

Select SnowflakeDSIIDriver, Click Finish

The ETL Group should provide the information in this format:

Take the information from above and copy and paste it into the below

Once it is all filled out it will look like this:

Click OK.

SERVER: This must be done in BOTH ODBC Administrators (32 and 64bit)on BOTH servers.
